No audio with MSP5 and G400/RR-g

Hi,
Capture using PC-VCR works fine. Though leaving it sometimes causes static and pops with soundcard. In MSP video capture, with capture audio and video on. I only get hiss. Any ideas?

Did you bring up your sound mixer panel and enable line in for recording ?

PC-VCR is well-mannered and does this automatically if the line is muted. It also shuts it down on exit.

MSP doesn't do this, so you need to un-mute manually
