Haig-Any crystal ball predictions of Matrox/Zoran hardware DVD + G200/G400 + RRG + 5.30 ever working? Are you even trying to get this combo up and running? I would just like to know how many extra PC's I should build so that I can use all my Matrox stuff.

Hi Brent,

There will be no dvd module support for any G400 cards. The only thing I can garantee you with Zoran is that there will be an update patch for the softDVD so that it will work with PD 5.xx. I think that it will only be officially supported with one version of PD5.xx and that's about it.

Don't know if we will have any kind of updates for the Zoran DVD module.

Upto now, we will only support PD 4.33 with it.

To be honest about it Zoran's DVD player is crap, hardware decoder or not.

The software DVD player by Ravisent (aka: Cinemaster) is so much better on any machine over 300mhz it isn't even funny.
