Is the 2.0MP good enough? I am not a serious photographer or anything, far from it, but would like to know if anyone has used it and what the picture quality is like.

There are reviews scattered round the internet. My major issue is the use of memory stick, and the joystick which is getting a bit tempremental on my K700i. I think Mobileburn has a review.
As you probably know already the Nokia 6230i is the major competitior. (Usee SD/ mmc)
A good source / fansite is www.esato.com . Be wary that the charger / connection port on the base has changed, so it may be an issue when you are round your friends and the battery has run out and they only have Nokia chargers.
I think the picture quality is quite good on the Sony.______________________________
Nothing is impossible, some things are just unlikely.
