That's not a soft focus lens, isn't it? What did you focus on? Does the E-400 really require Neat Image at ISO 400?

I like the softness, though (although it does always remind me of vintage porn... )
There's an Opera in my macbook.

the focus is in lamp's leg part. at F1.4, Dof is really narrow and bloom comes most likely from the lens, due the fact that it's made for 35mm. When you shoot full open with it in E-series camera, that has crop factor of 2 (when using legacy lenses) the mirrorbox / CCD gets way too much light, which starts to reflect from mirror box walls, adapter ring walls, parctically everything that reflects the light. So basically this lens is much better in E-system when used stopped down F2 or F2.8, maybe even more. (but I wanted to this one to be a sort of dream like, so here the bloom works nicely. ) Also, these older fast OM Zuiko standard lenses had rare earth (radioactive) elements, which have been reported to turn a bit yellowish when they get older. that again will warm up colors a bit. (again fits nicely here, but might be distracting in some situations. )

I can put also straight from the camera jpeg version available... it's not that it would definetely need it (especially for web sizes) but I am a bit of perfectionist and I was doing a master version for possible A4 print out, so that's why using Neat Image.

but when I post the original, you'll get the idea about dark noise in E-400 and then you can make your own conclusions if it's heavy enough for use of cleaners.

EDIT: here's straight from the cam version: (be patient... it's 1.81 MB JPEG and located behind 1MB/512KB ADSL line. )
