        She's a relatives cat. She liked the attention and I was happy to entertain with the strange flashing objects (camera and slave flash.)

          Awesome shots. What kind of camera did you use? Auto settings our macro fiddly widgets?

            I use a Canon S3 IS. Both were taken in full manual mode with the camera flash set to minimum power, just enough to trigger the Metz 28 CS-2 slave flash. The first was just zoomed out all the way with macro mode on so it would focus up close. The eye close-up was with a Raynox DCR-250 macro lens so I could zoom in and still focus at close range.
