They turned out well, considering this is a manual focus, manual shutter, manual aperture camera. On some shots I did cheat by measuring with my digital cam and some are out of focus, but I'm pleased by number of pics that turned out well.
Nice ones, even though some are a bit out of focus as you say. Somehow, the photos give the impression of really being taken in the past, 40 years ago or so.
I can imagine it is not easy to adjust everything purely on manual, so the "cheating" with the digital camera is understandable. Photographers probably used light meters in those days, or had so much experience with it that they can draw from experience to get the settings right.

The biggest problem is focus as you have to guess distance (if taking pictures of people/objects 0.6-2m / 2-7 feet) by eye. It has no paralax focus like Leicas.
What I wanted is bokeh as with my Canon A700 it's impossible to get soft background even if I open up to 2.8
