Heh, it IS a tad expensive, and we are really thinking about buying our own modem to help cut costs. One of the SB4100's with 10/100BASE-T and a USB port is what I've got my eye on.

I'm reasonably lucky here, it costs me about $US50 a month for 1.5meg down .5meg up ADSL.

Sadly the modem is rented with two choices
        1) a hideously expensive dsl router with 16 ports
        2) a cheap, CHEAP, usb dsl modem

But fortunately the suppliers provide support for up to 16 pc's nat'ed

Not that they can see what is really hiding behind my firewall anyway.

I'm just waiting on them to provide the modems for sale so I can drop the expense a little more

Hehe... i can barely pay me cable connection that cost me 30$/month. It's great for download.... 3mbits.... but upload's locked at 20kb/s and most of the time we barely reach 100kbits(~10kb/s). Not that it's so bad, but i've been disconnected 8 times today.... i don't know if that could be because the modem gets hot... really hot. Or maybe it's because i host a ftp illegally(were not allowed to host ftp/web/email/games/... servers). Or just because i passed the whote month quota (6g down, 1g up) in one day.
