And I can't blame the 686b bug as well (Used to happen on my old bx as well). I'm trying to defrag one of my drives with Nortons 2000 speed disk and it hangs half way through. Past experiance tells me that this is a corrupt file which scandisk doesn't detect. The culprit is normally Tiger woods golf and guess what I was playing that last night. At the moment I'm copying the games folder across to my server ready for the great delete however I'm wondering whether Nortons 2001 will fix it and will try that once the folder is backed up.
How come you never end up doing what you intend to do in the evening.

Have you tried Microsoft´s own defrag?

Yep and that will do it slowly well it did last time I tried. However the thing bugs you in the back of your mind. So I like to fix it. Nortons 2001 is now on so lets see what that does.

Ver 2001 fixed the prob. I knew I should have upgraded earlier.
