Howdy all. I'm getting a little burnt out with my computer hardware education so I was hoping for a change of pace. Learning C/C++ code seems like a nice change. I am hoping to spend as little money as possible on this so does anyone know of any good sites that have free learning utilities? At this point I am definately not opposed to any other programing languages, so if anyone has a suggestion other that C/C++ don't hesitate to speak up.

well you should try http://www.programmershaven.com/
they have quite some stuff and links..
i would suggest u try a hand at assembly language as well
since you can use it inside of C/C++ (to make the c prog run
faster / more efficient)Life is a bed of roses. Everyone else sees the roses, you are the one being gored by the thorns.
