    Update...

Well, I received an e-mail from colorcases stating that I could return the case and get the correct one with them footing the shipping bill.

Of course that would mean waiting 2 more weeks prox, I think I'll mod the color myself!

Also, they had run out of the Deer 400wt. p.s. so they sent out the cases without then sent the P.S. 2 days after, should be here Tuesday.

I just realized, I think this is first mobo I've actually killed all by myself

I have to say the 8k7a looks to be well built, we'll see

ps: the 1.4 is factory UNlocked and is a "Y" Bwahahahaha!

      Next Update:

Well, I've still not received the 400wt. power supply, nor the second case that I ordered two days after the original one or any information about either!

The phone number on colorcases.com has been disconnected with no additional information available, none of my e-mails to them have been returned either.

If anyone has had dealings with this company, please fill me in
      jim

ps: My kit from Frontx.com arrived today, very quick service!

and my new keyboard arrived also!

It has many of those useful keys not found on normal keyboards:

Like when it says to hit "any key"

It needs a long, sharp, nail poking up so you can end it all when you bang your head on the keyboard after needing to reinstall Winblows for the Nth time.

                  Final case update...

Colorcases was in the process of moving to a new facility (with a store front) so all there systems got screwed up, the 400wt. p.s. showed up yesterday and the 303 usb case will be here Monday according to the UPS tracking number.

So they're not "bad guys" after all, just a little confused

This is the case I'll be using

                    Help!

                    Hi all,
I've finally put my system back together again after finding the ram to be damaged as well.

I'm able to boot up @ 1729 (13x133) but not make it to desktop, it seems to run stable @ 1632 (12x136), funny thing is when I set the multiplier to 12.5 it comes up at 13

It started to lockup, garble the screen or throw me back to desktop in any random order when running 3d apps either immediately or after 10-15 seconds

The case temp is below 30c and the processor is between 40c-47c using the Thermalright SK6 and Arctic Silver

I tried running it at various speeds all the ways below stock @ 1300 (13x100) but it still happens, even tried two other vid cards and does the same thing

No irqs are being shared and all newest drivers and bios's have been applied, any thoughts would be appreciated
                    jim
                    Edit: bios settings possibly ?

                    (It's the first system below)

                          Shots in the dark:

                          New BIOS?
Have you run a memory checker, the boot disk type? The latest W2K live drivers (showed up here earlier) supposedly kill the gameport.

I don't have any good leads, sorry.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
