I purchased the Panasonic GD87 about a month ago.
Lovely phone, the colour TFT screen is amazing.
You can see more info on it here:

It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

I have a Motorola v66i, and I like it very much. I´m sick and tired of Nokia users bashing the Motorola´s menu interface, and I said: RTFM. Anyone with an IQ>60 will know how to operate the phone in 1 day.
And the Motorola design still turns heads when you answer the phone

I bought a T68i for 50 quid in October from Carphone Warehouse. Does everything I need it to do and I find it very easy to use.

Remember carphone warehouse give you £50 off a new phone if you give them any old phone+charger+manual. All it has to do is turn on
The Sharp one is the best you can get for that price.
It is much better than 7650, T100 and T68i...

I fart in nokia's general direction. Almost every nokia owner explains that their nokia have never had any problem, they have only had it at service once
Well, that is one service to much. I used to own panasonic phones and the really worked fine, and I am not especially careful with my phones (hey, it's just a phone). Recently I looked for a cheap phone with gprs and java support so I bought myself an siemens M50. I don't think I will ever, ever own a nokia.

RTFM my ass. I've played with a V50 for ages trying to change the WAP settings to another provider. I can't find them, and no mention in the manual.

                  Any ideas?

It´s the v66i, that is a bit different.
                        Here´s a v60

                        And here´s a v66

The v66i is the same thing as the v66 plus java support and 1000 phone numbers memory entries.

I never tried to do that, but it seems very straigthforward on the v66i. On the main menu I go to >services>internet sessions>new entry> and I can choose a new configuration and save it.

But keep in mind the v66i is a gprs phone and the software has nothing to do with a v50. I do admit the v50 can be a PIA to configurate the wap access as this version is kind of a v3368 hacked to have wap.

Yeah, don't think that option was there.

So, want to return to your statement about Motorola's having a sucky interface? At least the new ones appear to be better, about time though. The old 5110 still beats most phones on ease of use.

Now let´s see. My v66i has a perfectly inteligilble interface, althought I have to admit it might be a bit more complicated than the Nokia´s. But that doesn´t mean it isn´t 100% useable, just the learning curve is a bit different, and by no means it should influence the choice of the phone. After a brief manual reading and the first day of use you can use it fully. Actually I almost didn´t have to RTFM because Motorola now uses a system very similar to that of my old Siemens S25: a central menu key and two lateral keys that change the function acordind to what´s being displayed on the screen.

Still using mine...I just hate the mini keypads

I'm waiting for Nokia to release the end-all of PDA-phones à la 9910, but they don't seem to want to miniaturize the things...and they always cripple them one way or another...the 6310 seems fine, as well as the Panasonics (Motorola look great but they forgot the KISS principle in their menus....)

Yeah, 6310i seems quite good. Plan on getting one of them from Orange, and try and get my sister's 6310 off her for my O2 prepay phone.
