If I was going to get a Nokia, I'd get the 7210 which is a tri-band GSM / GPRS Series 40 phone that has color. It has a 128 x 128 12-bit color screen.
If I was going to get a Morotola, then I'd try to get a T720 handset. You can access your e-mail using its POP3 client. It has a 120 x 160 12-bit color screen. Depending on your carrier the type of network the phone works on will vary (CDMA / GSM / GPRS).

I know I'm banging on about the P800, but go look here - http://www.esato.com/reviews/p800pic...dex.php?page=1 (videos and pictures)

I almost purchased the Nokia 7210 - I was one click away from purchasing actually.
Then I did some research and read some reviews and they were very mixed.
There are a lot of unhappy 7210 owners out there, about 25% of them and that is too high.
That is why I decided to go for the Panasonic, not read a bad review on it yet.It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
Trolls might not be quick thinkers but they don't forget in a hurry, either

If you are geting a phone now, be shure to get color display and suport for MMS mesages
Stay far away from Nokia, they are having alot of problems with their new phones (7210/6610)!
It depends on what you need, if you want the most advanced phone on the market, you should go for Sony Ericsson P800, and if you want a cheaper model, Sony Ericsson T300 is a good option. T68i is also a good phone, I use it myself!

What problems? I'm thinking about 7210, 7650 or 6310i from Orange. Wasn't considering the 7650, but the price is rather low, need to check the feature lists again. Triband I know I lose out on, but I liked some of the little things the 6310i did.Meet Jasmine.

Just search Google for "Nokia 7210 reviews" and you'll see some very mixed ones.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of people love the phone to bits but a lot of people are also having a moan about some of the features.
We haven't actually got that many really good/new choices on Orange at the moment.
I'm on contract so I get a cheap upgrade every twelve months.
The 7210 was actually looking like the best of them and after reading the reviews I thought I'd wait a while before upgrading.
In the end I went for the Panasonic phone.
Took a little getting used to as it is bigger than my old Samsung A300 but the TFT screen on this thing is lovely.
If you're on Orange and don't really like that is curently available just give it a couple of months and the range should be increased. It cost one penny to cross, or one hundred gold pieces if you had a billygoat.
