I can recommend the Linksys BEFSR41.

I can recommend the Linksys BEFSR41.
Ditto. I run the LinkSYS and it's very good. With the new downloadable firmwares it is probably the most feature packed as well.

Make it three. I've been running the Linksys BEFSR41 for over a year and it's one great box.

I *think* Linksys should put this thread in their ads

I guess I'll throw my vote in for Linksys too. The only problem we've had was it losing the connection to the DSL modem, but all we have to do is turn it off for a few secs. It only happens once every few months. Although I don't think we've updated the firmware in a long time.

Has anyone used the wireless model?

Whilst I have never used the Linksys router I can't really praise it like everyone else. I can however tell you to stay the heck away from the D-Link router. I dunno which model you were considering, but the one I used to use (till it died out of nowhere) sucked in every way. It was constantly disconnecting me for no reason, and it made online gaming a joke. I still use D-link NICs, with nay a problem, but their routers are trash.

                          alternative

SteveC started a thread on this back around June. As a result I bought the Netgear RT314 for about £100 - it was pretty easy to set up, but there are certainly ones that are easier.
