Why don't you get a job?
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

As for the spending part, how about some top-of-the-line gfx card? You know, one that actually allows you to play modern games without a hitch...

Or perhaps something for your car (assuming you have one)...

I thought that it was the Dr's who bought the drinks not the students!

My car is fine... It has a roof and four wheels...... I might treat it to a tank of petrol though....

What does a Med student have to do to get £500 these days?
Volunteer to be a research student? Participate in something 'upstairs'?

                Anyway, I'm only a B.Eng, not a Dr.

Oh - you mean that money to help you with 'lifes essentials' while studying

Well in that case you deserve a top of the range GF3

                          Only joking

I think I was one of the last people in the UK to finish Higher Education without being in debt.

For me £500 means I can put my 2nd system together. I'm always fighting the wife & child off mine.

                            Right!

I have deceided to go for a PDA.

A while back I spoke to SteveC about the Compaq iPAQ series. He strongly recommended the 36xx series. Looking at compaq's website, I have noticed that there is now a 38xx range although I cannot find it for sale...

                            Can anyone reccomend a PDA?
Is this still the best one to go for?

I am after connectivity.... Something with a USB port would be nice so I could connect it to a printer/network...

                            Any ideas????

                            I love you guys!:
