I work at a University and the Windows XP update site doesn't work. Apparently this is a national cache problem caused by Microsoft returning a zero header when trying to access the site.

It now works after my friend got the sniffer on the network and found every where Microsoft was sending you for the updates. Basically he bypassed the national cache.
