  • Overclocking Voodoo

Okay, I downloaded this Voodoo3 2000 Overclocker... It actually lets me slide the bar to increase or decrease its speed. Should I be afraid of frying my card?

its currently set at default... which is 120MHz... whats the max I can set it to you think?

    Thanks alot

Try it in increments of 5 until you either get a screen freeze or corruption occuring in your display while playing a heavy 3D Game... something that makes it work hard.

Then drop it back a notch and voila.

143MHz should be default. Anyways Voodoo3 cards can be clocked quite a bit, just make sure you add a fan to the heatsink.

      What app are you using???

Powerstrip is a very good utility for OC.

i'm new to this. i haven't added any heatsink or anything. can't be bothered with that. i'll try to increase it with increments of 5. i'll work my way up to 143MHz
