Yeah, I lined my side panels and bottom of my case with Dynamat. works pretty well for dropping sound.. it got rid of the whine of the fans and stuff, and now I just hear the sound of air moving.
Oh.. and yeah, it does smell. I let the stuff sit out for a few days before putting it in my room.
