Power Supply Question...

You know how some power supplies have that extra 6-pin plug for the motherboard?? What is that for?

I have an old Dell Optiplex here at work in which I think the supply died. It uses that extra plug and I don't have a supply that has that extra plug to test it with.

It's a 200w supply.

Suggestions where to get a replacement and what to ask for are definitely welcome.

Yeah, thats f'in Dell and their damend proprietary power supply connector.

Dunno what else to tell ya, except don't buy any more dell $hit.
