Howdy all. Did a fresh install on my raid array, and now I can't get win2K installed for my life. It goes through the fily copy process and tells me to restart. It then says hit F6 if you need to install a raid driver, so I do. Here is where the problem may be, the disk that came with my mobo (it's on-board raid) became corrupted somewhere along the way. I dl'ed a newer version of the driver and that's what I have it install.
It then says starting Win2k setup, the optics on my usb mouse light up, the keyboard lights flash, and the hhd working light goes on. That's as far as I get.
I have tried 2 different copies of Win2k, upgrade (which I have been running for over a year) and a newer full install copy. Both do the same thing.
As far as hardware, I have an Iwill KK266-R motherboard, and 2 40 gig IBM 60gxp's.
Is there something obvious I am just missing? Me being a flake lately I wouldn't doubt it. For the record, it was really easy to get this exact hardware to run back when I put this machine together.
