Nvidea and infinite bsod error on Xp

Okay theres lot of people saying this just isn't an Via issue and it happens on other chipsets however no ones yet linked to a direct thread which confirms this.
So lets see how many have had it here.

Note the bsod should refer to the nv4_disp.dll. Any other error maybe referring to another fault which maybe clouding the issue in some cases.
Also the old 686b bug may also be effecting some of these people I've seen some poeple reffering to data corruption and blaming it on the loop error.

Problem FINALLY went away for me after installing the 23.11 drivers. This is on my Abit VP6 mobo.

Saturday night I was at a friend's Internet cafe playing Fifa2002. The machine was a Duron 800 with 256 MB RAM with a GeForce 2Mx 400 running WindowsXP and the 23.11 detonator drivers. I suspect something was wrong with the setup because it was definitely slower and choppier than my Duron 700@700 with my G400 Vanilla DH. I was shocked to say the least. I think I'll have to go back there to see what the problem is. I think it is a defective card personally.

3DMark 2000 is SLOWER on Win XP
3DMark 2001 is FASTER ( on most machines including mine ) on Win XP

Must be that Via chipset you've got just going into an infinite loop.

Well it looks like if you got a via board you have more chance of bsod than any other board a fifty fifty chance while Intel comes as expected with a very slow score. However to be honest you need more votes and wider option of possible votes.
