• Taskmanager?

Is there any software that emulates the functionality of the taskmanager in W2K?

I did have one once but I dumped it since it compromiced the system stability...

You might try TaskInfo2002 by Igor Arsenin.

Mark Russinovich's Process Explorer is also very handy. Don't leave it open constantly though, as some apps don't like it.

Process Viewer comes with Microsoft Visual Studio, it does not have many functions as the other ones listed. Maybe you can get it free somewhere on MS's site...

Process Viewer also comes as part of the W2K support tools on the W2K OS CD.
