hi everybody,
I am trying to install the vpn - server on my win2k pro box. I know that it will be quite crippled (compared to win2k server), but it should do what I want it to do.
From what I've read so far I am supposed to enable the server through the network - assistant ("accept incoming connections"*).
The problem is that in the following list my NIC doesn't show up, only LPT1.
Already tried reinstalling the NIC (3com 905TX; TCP/IP installed; client for ms-networks. I am not really used to NT-based systems, so maybe I missed something important.
Maybe useful: I connect to the internet with a vpn-connection to my modem (dsl; pptp).
SP2 is installed.
Any suggestions?
