GF3 Ti 200 is a good option, specially if they drop the price because of GF4 (they will). You´ll get a faster-than-you-really-need card, if not happy enough, almost all of them overclock to original GF3 speeds (if not Ti 500).

GF4 Ti 4200 sounds nice too, it´ll retail for around $199, more or less what Ti200 costed when they came out. Anything higher is a waste of money.

GF4 MX is a rip-off. It´s just the old GF2 cow milked again and again.

About KyroII, it was a very nice card one year ago, and believe me, it still is. I´ve yet to see a game that doesn´t run properly and at very decent speeds on it.

About ST droping Kyro, pay attention that ST is only the chip-maker. All the R&D, intelectual property and driver developing belongs to Imagination Technologies (PowerVR). They just need to find a new partnership to make the silicon. It can actually prove a good thing, because ST was never ambitious enough to compete on the high-end.
