E-mail client with good spam filters???

Anybody know a good (preferrably free) e-mail client with some half descent spam filters?

I'm getting pretty sick of receiving tons of spam e-mail, but then again who isn't!!

The best thing would be if I could simply block/instantly delete from server, any messages from people who are NOT in my contact list (just like you can on ICQ).

Blocking/Ignoring specific adresses/domains doesn't really help since the morons keep changing adresses

Any suggetsions??

If you receive your mails through a linux-mailserver, it ought to be possible to configure procmail (on the server) to filter incoming mails in such a manner...
(I know it is possible, but my knowledge of procmail doesn't go that far...)

Would this be my ISP's server or one that I have at home?

In any case, don't know what my ISP is using and I don't really have the time, patience or spare hardware to set up a linux box at home.

Browsed around a bit and found a client called 'spamkiller', which should be able to do the trick... i.e. block mail from anyone not in my 'friends' list. Costs 30$ though.

Anybody here know the program? or an alternative?

I'll second Pegasus Mail. Been using it for years. Has a very powerful filtering system that's easy to learn/use.
