Radeon DDR and truform

Hi!

Does anyone know how to enable truform on a normal radeon card?

truform is a vertex shader thingy...

It does not exist on a normal radeon and can not be enabled

I found patches to use truform with radeon but it works in sw mode.
As you said radeon's dont have the hw support for truform only 8500 does.

yep, hardware only, I have one. But don't loose any sleep over it. While it is a great thing, it needs to be used more to be of advantage to the consumer. The truform demo with the dolphins is an excellent example, but in games that weren't designed for it, it is less than stellar.

Kind of like EMBM for the G400. Great stuff in the tech demos, but very few apps used it properly or at all, so it was of little value really. And in both cases, one of the reasons I got the card
