  • Graphics Tablets & Mice

Anyone have any experience of these things? I've been toying with the idea after disparing of using my MS Intellimouse Explorer for a little light graphics work under Photoshop.

Thing is, I want to retain use of my Mouse for games. Can you get them to co-exist under Windows 2000?

With most modern operating systems (that would be windows 95+) you can use multiple mice. AFAIK, some tablets even come with a cordless mouse so that you can use both as you see fit.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

I have a Wacom Intuos A5 tablet connected to the USB and a Microsoft Intellimouse Optical in my PS/2 mouse port. They use the same cursor (of course), and the Wacom takes over the cursor only when its pen is close enough to the tablet. I have not experienced any difficulties in 98, ME, 2K or XP.

I'm using a Calcomp serial tablet with a USB mouse and have no problems with them interfering.
