I don't see why MS should hafta put USB 2.0 drivers in their OS. If as you say, the current USB 2.0 chipsets aren't up to the standard, there would be no point. It's a helluva jump from 1.2MB/s to 40MB/s.
Standalone cards and Mobo mfrs. will surely include it in *their* driversets for XP as well as 2000 and of course 9x.
I just wish they'd put CDR/RW filesystem drivers in native-like. I mean, *those* standards have been around for quite a while now.
