  • New Windvd 4 but why not let the demo play full movies

This is the bit that annoys me you download 9 megs of file and then they tell you that you can only watch 5 minutes of movies. Yes I go with thirty days of running but I prefer to watch a movie all the way through to see if it skips frames or not.
I've got Powerdvd 4 which will miss the odd one out or not dunno why but my old windvd didn't.

I upgraded from WinDVD 3 DTS to 4 Plus, (it's getting too expensive, I don't think I'll upgrade it again unless they give a really decent discount), and now four channel decoding is broken. Two channel works fine, but if I set it to four the sound stops and the player starts running too fast. Very strange bug, I emailed 'em yesterday, hopefully I'll get a response on Monday.

It's funny how software companys can sell buggy software.....

Imagine a car company doing the same...

"when in fourwhell drive and using the blinkers while having the choke on full the brakes won't work!! - a patch is due to quarter 4"

If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

It's just become accepted that when you buy software it's going to have bugs. We accept it god knows why. Even better Governments buy buggy software and don't even test the bugger it seems before going live.

Well, there's a serial/crack site I know that helped me to crack WinDVD 3 some time ago... I guess they'll have a hack for WinDVD 4 as well.

Now, before I give you the link, WARNING:

The site has many annoying popups.
The search for the Crack/Serial will give other sites which hold the cracks and which have other annoying popups, some/most are porn related.

Advice: The crack will never be available for downloading on the popups so you can kill them as soon as they appear.

                Good luck !

That's a pretty useful site, Dogbert. Uh, not that I ever use it.
