  • WinXP autologin?

Hey all: Got a question. How do you setup WinXP to automatically sign in? (No Logon Prompt) Or one that is automatically executed?

    Thanks in advance.

Why didn't you just ask this afternoon?

the easiest way is to download tweakui for xp - there is a checkbox option for enabling automatic logons
Yes I drive a 13yr old Volkswagen; Yes I'm a dirt poor college student; Yes every tank of gas is more $$ than the value of my car, but it is FUN to drive, so I don't care about your ego or how much your car cost, if you insist on going the exact same speed in the passing lane as the car next to you for 10 minutes, stop being a self righteous ass, move the hell over and just let me by!!!

You're right, everyone. Simply setting up only 1 account was sufficient to autologin. I redid my router last night/early this morning with WinXP Pro instead of Win2K, with a little extra. Reverend Maynard got me to thinking on another thread: I wonder if I could bond a pair of NICs in WinXP...

As it turns out, WinXP has built-in load balancing capability, all I had to do was bridge the network connection. Took about as long to do it as to explain it. Very cool.

Right now I have little need for it, but If I get another switch (a serious possibility, unfortunately) I'll be able to connect the switches together with a crossover cable and connect one each of the bridged NICs to each Switch to create a load balanced network with failover protection.

                Thanks all for the help.
