It's not hard to screw with film footage anyhow. The media in LA were directly responsible for the riots there by editing the rodney king footage to cause maximum uproar among blacks there. The jury saw the whole tape, and got a complete picture of what happened, so they found the cops not guilty. Of course this did not matter to the angry mobs.. after all, they knew what happened.. they had seen it on TV!
I would like to think people are more sophisticated now, but technology outpaces human perception always.. Alvin Toffler was right.
