I did a little upgrading myself this weekend
Rags donated a 40gig HDD, a 256meg stick of PC133 ram, and a (legit, unopened) copy of WinXP. Also purchased a new Plextor CD-RW/DVD a couple weeks ago. (Rags had some left over parts after his own recent upgrade)
Seems all the BBz are getting their PCs in shape for somethingCore2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

Speaking of which, MadScot, you should put a PowerLeap in that -LS unless you're about to get a new MB.<TABLE BGCOLOR=Red><TR><TD><Font-weight="+1"><font COLOR=Black>The world just changed, Sep. 11, 2001</font></Font-weight></TR></TD></TABLE>

Still, I can oogle over other rigs saying, "Maybe that'll be me..."

What rev do you have MadScot? My buddy is running a PowerLeap 1.3 GHz Tualatin Celeron on a R1.03 and its been steady as a rock, and that's at a 112 MHz FSB. Another friend is running his on a R1.02 and I think he was also able to push the FSB to 112 MHz. They may also work on lower revs but I don't know.Last edited by xortam; 30 May 2002, 20:22.<TABLE BGCOLOR=Red><TR><TD><Font-weight="+1"><font COLOR=Black>The world just changed, Sep. 11, 2001</font></Font-weight></TR></TD></TABLE>
