Well, as you can see from my sig, I finally ended nearly two months of strife when I recieved a fully functional PL-iP3/T1300 with the Celeron Tualatin 1.3Ghz. Just popped the old CPU out, dropped the new one in, turned on the computer, and it WORKED! I had to set the bios to ignore the vcore voltage, but other than that there were no problems. When I yelled at them, PowerLeap got their act together and got me a working part. The new CPU gives me a 4x-16x increase in SiSoft Sandra benches. Will test others shortly for more benches. Woo-hoo! This is upgrade month!

I figured they would come through in the end. Too bad it took a bit of prodding and time to resolve the problem. Sure is nice to add more life to that MB though, isn't it? Nice little performance jump.

I have an asus P3B-F (bios v1008 beta) with powerleap PL-iP3/T and a P3 tualatin 1400. I not only have to ignore the vcore voltage (which I don't mind) but also the temperature readings. I get a constant temperature of 127°C
Does anyone have the same problem and how can I get correct temperature values from my CPU? I won't oc it, but I still want to know. What would be a normal value for this CPU stressed?

I do not believe either the PL-iP3/T nor the P3 Celeron have temp probes. I decided not to mess with the heatsink, but the temp probes in my mobo and case show a similar temp profile as when I used a PII 400.
