  • Graphics card pricing

I've just been on Dabs.com looking at some prices, and searched for 128MB graphics cards. (<a href="http://www.dabs.com/products/prod-search.asp?action=search&p=128MB&lp=&up=&ob=manufa cturer&obd=asc&stab=ref&tid=700&mid=&mc=&sc=&jisi= &Search.x=34&Search.y=8">Result</A>)

Taking Hercules for Radeon (with Stain Removal), Matrox for that Parheelea thingy and Leadtek/PNY for chipsets from that place with the detonators I got these prices:

    P] Quadro4 750GXL - £640
    M] Parhelia (DVI/VO) - £335
    L] Ti4600 (DVI/VO) - £325
    H] 8500 (DVI/VO) - £275
    P] Ti4600 (DVI/VO) - £250
    L] Ti4400 (DVI/VO) - £230
    P] Ti4400 (DVI/VO) - £205
    H] 8500LE (DVI/VO) - £185

It makes the Parhelia look a better buy (I think). If I'm going to spend £200 on a graphics card it'd better not just do FPS

But is the extras worth £100 or will I get a G550 for £80? Decisions, decisions, decisions...

The Leadtek is effectively the same price as the Parhelia, and I'm sure which one everyone would rather have.

What would you's buy (and why)?
