Anyone got the Microsoft force steering wheel working under XP??
That is the non usb version. I hear it doesn't work is that right.

Mine Works...
I've got one of the old non-usb Force Feedback Wheels.
It works fine in XP, the only thing that you can't do is install the Sidewinder Software, so you don't get profiles and the like.

I still haven´t tried my sidewinder force feedback on XP, but it worked fine with win2k so I´d be very surprised if it wouldn´t work...
Connecting it to the joystick port of the soundcard seem a little jurassic now, doesn´t it?

The trick is, as Delany pointed out, NOT to install any software.
Just connect the wheel to your sound card (if it´s integrated, be sure it´s on in the BIOS), go to control pannel -> game controllers -> add and select Microsoft Sidewinder.
