Hey guys… For anyone who lives in Canada, this is a 10th-sub-basement-bargain : Dell P1110 (21” Flat Trinitron OEM by Sony; equivalent model: G500) monitors for $299 CAD a piece and P991 (19” Flat Trinitron OEM by Sony; equivalent model: G400) for $199 CAD; these are Dell lease returns, have been cleaned and have a 6 month exchange warranty. I bought three P1110 and it costed $1100 CAD with shipping and taxes… I returned the two Sony monitors I bought and even with the restocking fee, I had $200 left! Plus I now have 4 square feet of surround gaming/TripleHead goodness; Anyone interested, go to Http://www.dfsdirect.ca

There are lots of places in the USA to get used equipment as well.

Yeah, I know that, but $299 CAD is like $175 US, and $199 is like $120 US… But a Sony G500 is about $2000 CAD and a G400 is about $900. Besides, I was posting this because it’s hard for us to get high-quality monitors for cheap here, and most US web sites that sell those (new/refurb/whatever) either don’t ship to Canada or their shipping charges are out of this world… Just want to let fellow Canadians know where they can get cheap high quality monitors.What was necessary was done yesterday;

frankymail,
I already knew about that site, and I would buy a monitor, if and when I have enough money.

No, it's a great find. Don't get me wrong. I was more posting because Dogbert was all jealous... every country has refurb. resellers, just monitor (pun intended) them for a while and you'll catch a great deal.

I was going to order a Viewsonic P95f for $580 to go with my PF795. Now I will have this option to think about. The 16x12 limit may be a problem (I like my 18x13 desktop and want 19x14 ). I will need to do some searching for the full T&R specs.
I could buy two now and have my TH setup instead of waiting until I can budget the third VS P series monitor.I should have bought an ATI.
