FS Videos on 2nd/3rd head?

    FS Videos on 2nd/3rd head?

    Hey! Do you think it possible to display two video files in full screen at the same time or display them in the second/third monitor in full screen? I've tried this on my Parhelia, my G4Ti, my R850 and even using two Matrox Mystique 8 220 MB? If I play a file using WMP, when I switch to full screen, it's always displayed on my main (center) monitor... Same goes for DivX Player 2.0... Maybe it's a bug i'm experiencing. Anyone has the same problem? a work-around? I want to watch Movies/TV on one of my side monitors

    Actually, I've been thinking of a similar idea, mainly watching DVD's full screen on my second head, while working on my main head. But when I maximize the DVD, it either snaps to my main screen or to my secondary screen, and then when I click the opposite screen, it restores. I use WinDVD4.

        Ah, [CENSORED]! I got rid of my G400Max before I went to dual head (now a Radeon 8500), and ATI sucks with this. Guess I'll have to save up for the Parhelia.

          my copy of PowerDVD XP works fine while full screened on the second head. i can keep on working for as long as i want with it full screened, its quite nice. watching a movie right now, as a matter of fact

            and, to test the specific situation mentioned at the beginning of the thread, i just full screened an episode of the simpsons on the first head for good measure and watched them both at the same time. did have to use WMP, as PowerDVD XP doesn't like multiple instances.

              You're talking about DVDs right? I was asking mainly for file playback (DivX, XviD and others) and TV input using a BT encoder

                i used PowerDVD XP to watch both MPEG1 streams and MPEG2 streams on the second monitor. because it is a DirectShow player it can handle any other stream that WMP can handle without a problem.

                pretty much the problem with WMP is that it is not designed for multi-mon situations.

                PowerDVD XP does a beautiful job in this environment, barring any specific codec problems...
