  • Ti4200 64 MB : MSI, Leadtek, Triplex or Abit?

Which would you go for? If anyone has one of these cards please reply with your opinion.
Since they all seem to perform the same, I'm interested in build/image quality (comparable to a g400). Very few reviews even mention quality at all. Shiny water is no good if it's all blurry

I know I've posted about this before, but these are the four brands I "can" buy right now. (Although stock status is another matter, since the place I wanted to buy from just told me they don't actually have any of these in. Makes the "Pricelist Updated on 31st" a bit of a fib really.)

    Thanks

So the rumours about Abit cards are true then Dog?

On the other Hand : what do you think about a 8500 64MB LE? The only thing that scares me off them is the drivers.

How about a Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/650XP Golden Sample? Anyone used one of these?

I have/had a Gainward GF3 Ti 450 Golden Sample. Great card. Very nice IQ for a GF3. It came clocked higher than other Ti200's by default, and the OC tools Gainward supplies had me running the card faster than a Ti500 within an hour of opening the box.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

Yes, Gainward is just about the only manufacturer that makes good cards based on nv chips. Get a Gainward golden sample if you're getting a GF4.

Thanks for the replies guys. The Gainward does seem like the best option. Especially now that you've confirmed the good IQ.
At first I thought they were overpriced, but then I discovered that most of the other brands don't include all the required cables/dongles. And that's just plain cheap. Not to mention nasty.
