Got a new iiyama pro 512

Text mode superb banged it up to max res 2048 x 1536 and the text was clear and readable. Gone back to recommened res.
The bad news is if you put it in movie mode the text is ghosted and looks awful. Shouldn't have left the factory like that. Out of interest I played a movie and looked great.
Since the darned is so heavy I can't be arsed at the moment to book another day off work to get it swapped out. I'll just leave for now and swap it at a later date.

I have a pro 451 (19"), and just want to say that in movie mode it seems it's supposed to "ghost".

Sounds like a feature then. Mmm.
Movie mode is just a way brightening up the image so you get more vibrant colours. I played a DVD and the picture looked great.

It's kind of a brute force HW FSAA.

Or in other words, more contrast, bit more brightness and some nice blurring.
