  • My Matrox G450 is dying...

On 2D it starts to flicker randomly (sometimes not even at all), but I thought it was because it was a (7 year?) Dell monitor. Since I bought a brand new Dell Dimension 4500 and swapped the geforce4 with a G450, it started to flicker again after installing the newest (non-beta) drivers.

I swapped the geforce back, and the G450 in the original machine and there is little flickering.

Is my G450 dying or is it a driver/connection problem?

It was set at 75Hz. I tried doing 85/60, but it just flickers.

The card itself was new OEM when i bought it last christmas. Sometimes it flickers and sometimes it doesnt, but when it flickers, it flickers bad.

I just lost my Matrox G450 last week, but found out today I lost it in a romantic way- T&L (thunder & lightning) fragged it...
I am so-so sad and i definetely don't have the money to buy Parhelia, so I have to live with a 10 years old S3 crap for a while
        ..sigh..
