    So, what is it then?

    Crap. Crap and vaporware.

    It's the next BitBoys product.

I think Kamen is secretly funding BitBoys.

Not true, Gurm. Kamen has actual product. Segway's are already under production, just not in mass, yet. Plus he has invented lots of other things that are widely used.

I'm still waiting for his wheelchair that climbs stairs that he invented 3 years ago. That thing was incredible! He then chopped two wheels off and called it a Segway... after 2 more years of research!

          Stinking FDA testing...

I saw a local news story where they reported that the post office was using segway's in the Bronx (NYC)

so some people are using them, and if people could buy them i bet they would.

He still has something up his sleves with the wenkel/sterling engine. but he is very protective about his patents, so we won't hear much untill he has them secure.

the "shop' on segway.com has a picture that reminds me of the marching hammers from "the Wall"
