  • Some IE problems

    This problem appeared a few weeks ago, but it is really annoying:
    I am always using multiple active browser windows (3 to 4), but now everytime when a page get's loaded it appears as the active window. An example:
    While I am writing this post, I have the website from Mindfactory in another window, they have a frame which gets reloaded every 4 or 5 minutes and shows what article a customer bought. Now everytime it loads that page new, that window is active and I have to switch to the IE window with the MURC forums loaded to continue writing this post.

    I don't know what causes this problem, I haven't changed any settings, even in the options of the IE6 I can't find any settings which could solve this problem. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?
    Specs:
    MSI 745 Ultra :: AMD Athlon XP 2000+ :: 1024 MB PC-266 DDR-RAM :: HIS Radeon 9700 (Catalyst 3.1) :: Creative Soundblaster Live! 1024 :: Pioneer DVD-106S :: Western Digital WD800BB :: IBM IC35L040AVVN07

    If you don't want to use anything but IE, there are three ways:

    1. Put the MindFactory site in a security zone. Disable META REFRESH for that zone.
    2. Disable META REFRESH for all sites.
    3. Get TweakUI. Fiddle with prevent-app-from-stealing-focus settings.

    If you do #3, your taskbar flashes when another app wants focus.
    #2 is the least annoying, low-maintenance option.
