          Many have seen a substantial boost in IDE performance over the default 2000/XP drivers. (Myself included)

            Yes, because they use a large chunk of CPU time to do that!

                    IAA also breaks some CD utilities (all Arrowkey software; apparentley Intel won't help with resolving it)
