Just the little problem with that quote - why should consumers question the notion that a faster chip will outperform a slower chip? It will!

It's going to be Banias - P6 (PentiumII and III) mobile based .13um chips that have much higher IPC than P68 (netburst Pentium4 core). It's going to be problematic since P4 Mobiles will overlap Banias and AMD might be selling mobile Athlons 2800+ by that time.
