    IMO the P4 does not have any advantages in Quake 3.

    One gets 290fps and the other 310(640x480 - 800x600). Clearly the P4 offers more...

    If you are going to do anykind of gaming, the Video board is much much more important. I don't think you can notice any difference between a P4 or an Athlon XP in any game, all other things being equal.

    BTW, that weinand carachter really bugs me...
