  • Problem

    OK, ive got a new computer and connected the LEDs and other jumpers from the case. Problem is that the power switch turns on the computer but not off. Help would be much appreciated...

    i assume you did hold it for 4 seconds, cause that is what you have to do with ATX case...

      Of course, this 4 second delay-behaviour can often be changed in the bios... (to an immediate power off)

        Yeah. It powers off after 4 seconds. My other computers must have instant off as default

          They do if they are AT.
          With ATX, the power switch is actually just a signal, and can even be generated or caught by software.
          Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
