electronics components in nyc

Hi everyone .. wish that someone could help me on this ..

I'm searching for some IC's and transistors to fix a broken motherboard, was wondering where do you guys buy components in new yrok city ?

I'm looking for walk-in stores .. non online resellers as i don't have a credit card and i'm really short on time.

I've been looking around all over the net .. and most of the net vendors ship online or have offices in upstate new york .. I'm sure there must be some electronics shops to walk-in in Brooklyn or Manhattan.

Besides Radio Shack, as they are usually expensive and u have to backorder whatever you want.
