actually it will cover the core... just not the entire heat spreader (ie chip)

...which is far from ideal for thermal transfer....

...help me out here. The CUV2AB has a diameter of 55.8 which looks to be the full contact plate, what do I need?

The Cooljag JAC311C is 63x60 which looks big. Don't want to stress the card or plant some monster in there 'cause it looks good, no bigtime OC. Just want cool, 'cause cool is cool and cool is good...

Don't forget that the Titan is round and the Parhelia is square. It'll be perfect for your KyroII, however...

...I just don't know what the actual measurements of the Parhelia chip are and can't find them anywhere. I've seen it naked in enough photos which only gives me a relative picture. But I'm not about to pull the P HSF until I know what I'm going to smack on it. I could just pull it and spread a better paste which might improve cooling, but I want a quieter fan too.

            Catch 22, unless somebody knows?

I'm running a low-profile Vantec 60mm Copper Heatsink on mine. The fan I'll be using soon is a Vantec Stealth, but currently running something louder and more powerful...

...guess we stole AZ's thread here...

                AZ, get a CUV2AB.

My chipset fan must have overheard he was getting fired next week and has started making all kinds of complaining noises. SOB!

Thanks for the Vantec tip. I've got a few alternatives in mind, but I still don't know the measurements of the P chip!

Just use any 1U copper heatsink and affix the fan of your choice...

Hmmm... now what was it I suggested even before this thread was started?

...and I forgot what Greebe said...

                        Cooljag?
                        New grease?
                        Leave it the eff alone?
                        Other option?
