  • 98SE Problem logging onto a domain

The machine originally logged onto a domain. I set it to use the Windows Logon as the primary logon with "me" as the username and a blank password because it was supposed to stay seperated for a while. I then later had to connect the machine to a different domain. It refuses to bring up the microsoft network logon screen with the username, password and DOMAIN fields. Any ideas? questions?

Remove all the network components, set it to "Windows Logon".

    Reboot.

    Add the components back in.

Set it to "Logon for MS Networks" (or whatever).

Make sure to change your password and/or delete the user.

Gurm's solution should work, but if it doesn't check this out...

I've pretty much tried that already, Gurm, but not all at the same time. I'll try both.

I gave up and made it just log on automatically again. I found out that the person who is going to use it doesn't need to connect to anything.
