Some Bios have an option boot another device or something similar you may have to set this as it doesn't sound like the system is trying boot from the controller.

done that. 1st device to boot is "scsi controller". i tried various combos. sometimes i turn off ALL the other boot devices and ALL my onboard IDE channels. again, it is futile.Originally posted by The PIT

Have you got a spare drive knocking about. If you have try installing an os onto that and see if it boots with the card on.Comment
