I'm glad they're going with a 200Mhz FSB, but really, it's expected. The product is almost a year away, and people have had thier FSB at 200+ for almost a year now anyway (overclockers like us, that is).
However, it should make a bigger difference on these chips since they'll likely require more memory bandwidth. Also, the fact that the north bridge (with the exception of the AGP controller) is integrated into the CPU is nice, so maybe it will scale a little better. Good going, AMD. Now get it out before Intel pummels you into the ground.

The NForce has a DualChannel interface since quite some time now - just that up to now the additional bandwidth could not be used due to the CPUs low FSB.Comment

Even still, the difference is negligable. Some programs even run slower when utilizing both channels. Things should be a little different for the hammer, tho.Originally posted by Indiana
